The website mentions starting building blocks for civic literacy in GTA. I would love to be part however wonder if you have anything for the Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge area?

Fairvote.ca is a great example of an organization pushing for a different system. Maytree supports, locally, in Toronto, the Better Ballot project – http://www.betterballots.to/

Our winner-take-all voting system stifles diversity. With only one winner in each riding, no one who is “different” need apply. The first step to electing more women and minorities is to change to a proportional voting system, as most developed countries did a century ago.
